Olympiakos have completed the signing of Blackburn striker Matt Derbyshire.

Derbyshire had a quick medical (unlike that traitor) and was confirmed as a signing late last night.

Matty has signed a four year deal. The transfer fee is believed to be £3.5 million with heavy future fees included in the deal – most important of all being a sell on fee.

Derbyshire, a Blackburn fan has wanted this move since coming back from Greece in May as he knows he will get more first team action at OLympiacos, having spent the latter part of last season on loan with the Greek giants.

Derbsyhire, speaking to Sky Sports – ‘I am very happy with this transfer. I wanted to stay at Olympiakos,’

‘I hope to improve myself and become much better next season. I want to score more goals with Olympiakos.

‘I am looking forward to going to Austria for the pre-season, it’s fantastic the feeling for me.

‘I will try my best to help Olympiakos. With hard work and I hope to succeed.’

Most people will know my feelings on this one. This is a mistake in my eyes, Derbyshire shows true commitment and always bangs in the goals at a regular rate – Olympiacos have got one hell of a signing.

However, he leaves with my blessing unlike that sneaky judas who left on Monday.

Good luck Matty, you’ll always be a favourite in our eyes at Ewood.
