Mark Hughes has hinted that maybe Ryan Nelsen could make his Blackburn Rovers return as early as tomorrow afternoon when we visit Luton Town in the FA Cup.

I knew the Admiral was nearing a return and thought this could happen against Chelsea next week, but feared even that could prove too soon thinking Sheffield United next weekend would be more realistic but there is a chance he could return when we face Mike Newell’s Luton tomorrow!

After coming through several matches in the last week or so and coming through 70 minutes plus of Wednesday’s reserve game with Bolton Wanderers Hughes has hinted at a possible return, he said:

We’ll look at Ryan. He came through the reserve game in midweek, had seventy odd minutes. We’ve been building him up gradually and we’ll see how he is today, and if possible there is a chance to try Ryan out in this game.”

What a boost this would be at the end of a couple of torrid week’s worth of injury set backs. If Sparky and the Admiral feel a return is possible and it isn’t too soon it would be great to see him have a run out tomorrow!
