Ryan Nelsen has urged the Blackburn fans to bring their away voices with them to the game against Wigan on Sunday as Rovers carry on their relegation scrap.

The boys are in 17th place, but 3 points ahead of Middlesboro and level on points/goal difference with Hull. The remaining games however, with the exception of Chelsea away is kind.

Three of those matches are at home and Nelsen wants the noise to be the same as the away games.

Some of the away followings this season have been superb for a small town club. In particular games against Hull, Fulham and Stoke have seen the Rovers fans in form not seen before.

Nelsen, speaking to Rovers.co.uk, said – “The fans were fantastic at Stoke and that is the disappointing thing. We didn`t threaten their goal as much as we would have liked.

“I hope they will be back again next weekend because they have been great when we have played away the last few months.”

More of this please, all of you…
