As my Dad once said to me when he tried to tell me about the birds and the bees or anything to do with Newcastle United… I’ll keep this short and sweet.

Ali Syed has extended his period of exclusivity and is continuing in his efforts to buy Blackburn Rovers.

An official statement from WGA’s PR company is quoted in the Lancashire Telegraph as saying – ‘Western Gulf Advisory (‘WGA’) announces that the period of exclusivity it was granted in order to conduct due diligence on Blackburn Rovers Football Club has been extended.

‘This enables WGA to continue to explore the financial situation of the club while ensuring that no other bidder can buy it or look into its books. ‘Although the due diligence process is taking longer than originally envisaged WGA remains committed to pursuing the opportunity to acquire such a prestigious club.’

Happy. Days.
