According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Tony McMahon could soon become another arrival at Ewood Park.

McMahon, out-of-contract at Bradford but offered a new deal, had been linked with rivals Bolton but could now be on his way to Blackburn to work with Tony Mowbray, formerly his boss at Middlesbrough.

The full back has been at Bradford since an arrival from Blackpool in 2015 but the chance to work with his former Boro boss could work in Blackburn’s favour, despite plenty of reported interest in McMahon, who has also spent time at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.

Blackburn, having concluded the transfer of Bradley Dack on Tuesday evening, look set to complete the signing of QPR midfielder Ben Gladwin, reports West London Sport.

Along with Dack, Gladwin, 25, was linked with a switch to Ewood Park a few days ago and is now ‘set to sign’ for Rovers after talks advanced leaving a deal for the midfielder ‘highly likely to go ahead’ after a frustrating spell at Loftus Road.
