Rovers young striker Nick Blackman has been sent out on a one month emergency loan to Oldham as the league one side try to overcome injury problems.
Nick had featured in pre-season at Cambridge but Sam is nowhere near confident enough to put him in the first team squad as yet and has decided Nick could do with the experience.
Our Nick won’t have to look far to see a familiar face though as fellow Rover Alex Marrow is at Oldham on loan!
