The transfer window concluded on Thursday with Blackburn completing deals for Liverpool’s Sam Hart and MK Dons’ Paul Downing.
Liam Feeney left Ewood Park to join Cardiff though.
Hart, 20, left Liverpool to join Blackburn on a permanent basis as the left back signed a two year deal for an undisclosed amount, becoming the second addition late on as the deadline drew to a close.
The signing of Hart, which came after Rekeem Harper had joined on loan from West Brom, was followed by the transfer to Ewood of MK Dons defender Downing.
Experienced former Walsall central defender Downing, 25, was secured on a season-long loan deal from Blackburn’s League One rivals.
However, there was an exit as Feeney, 30, returned to the Championship to join the early season pacesetters Cardiff.
The winger, in his second spell at Rovers, will remain at the Cardiff City Stadium until January, initially.
