Are Rovers really about to sell Niko?

According to the papers today Blackburn are ready to sell Nikola Kalinic in the summer – after he was frozen out of Steve Kean’s plans.

The Croatian striker, who cost £6million when Sam Allardyce signed him two seasons ago, is still the top scorer at Rovers this term.

But Kalinic has been left out of the squad recently and is not playing for the reserves.

Kalinic’s agent has spoken to Rovers about the striker’s future and he seems sure to be found a new club at the end of the season.

Is it just me that is mystified by this?

We have Roberts who is not a goal scorer no matter how hard he tries, Santa Cruz who is not in good form and Benjani who is not good at all. Niko is still our top scorer and always puts in 100% and looks a threat.

Personally I cannot figure out what Kean is up to other than being the absolute fool we all know him to be.
