Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle was delighted to see the side pick up their first win of the 2016/17 campaign earlier today against Rotherham United.
Come from one goal down at Ewood Park to take a three one lead, a late Rotherham second made it a tense affair until Sam Gallagher scored in stoppage time to make it four two on the day, adding to goals from Craig Conway, Marvin Emnes and Ben Marshall.
With a difficult start to the new season, Coyle was obviously thrilled to pick up the first win of the competition and speaking to BBC Radio Lancs Sport, he credited the players for coming through a ‘test of character’ and showing their team spirit across the 90 minutes.
