Owen Coyle has spoken of his delight at seeing Blackburn Rovers take victory over Brentford earlier today.

Welcoming Dean Smith’s side to Ewood Park for today’s match, Blackburn took a hard fought three two victory on the day with goals coming from a Danny Graham brace and a Harlee Dean own goal, but the visitors did take the lead one minute into the game, and drew level on the half hour mark – so the match had plenty of talking points.

Speaking to BBC Lancs Sport in his post game media interviews, Coyle said that the game and performance showed that the side could ‘move’ themselves into a ‘position of safety’ in the Championship this season, and he had no doubts about that.
