Manager Paul Lambert has given his thoughts following today’s victory over Brentford.

Travelling to Griffin Park and looking for a response to the last game, Blackburn took the victory one nil on the day with an 86th minute goal from Duffy and returned to Ewood with both the three points and a clean sheet.

Whilst Lambert was obviously pleased with that, the double yellow card shown to Hanley did figure in his thoughts though, and the Scot quipped that the referee ‘pulled that card out quicker than most guys in the magic circle’ as he tried to prove his point about the performance of the man in the middle on the day.

People will make their own minds up but Brentford registered 19 fouls and one yellow card, but Blackburn registered 17 fouls, six yellow cards and one red.
