Mame Biram Diouf has dedicated the surprise victory at the Hawthorns to the Rovers faithful.

The 3-1 win on Tuesday came as a surprise after the horror show against Stoke on Boxing Day and the on-loan Man United man admits that life as a Blackburn player has been tough these last few weeks.

But the Senegalese man insists that the team are together and that with the supporters behind the players the team can go places.

Diouf II spoke to Sky Sports News and said – ‘We have been through a hard time, the team and everyone,’

‘Even if is hard we are doing our best to make them happy. The fans have been waiting for this win and we have been looking forward to it.

‘We have been playing so good, even when we have been unlucky. We have kept believing and that is what happened here.

‘We are a team and a team has to have supporters behind you. If you have that it will always make you strong.

‘Hopefully they will always understand us and know we always want to do our best for the club. We always want to win.

‘They are always there so when we see them we are always happy to win for them.’
