Blackburn Rovers have lost the services of Modou Barrow following his recall by Swansea City.

Barrow was due to stay at Ewood Park until January after a loan was agreed with the Barclays Premier League side in August, however, Swansea have recalled him so his Blackburn spell is over!!

Part of the agreement when he came to Ewood was that the Swans included a recall clause after twenty eight days, which was something they activated on Tuesday leaving Rovers an option light heading into the SkyBet Championship return this coming weekend with a trip to Craven Cottage to face Fulham on offer.

Gary Bowyer used the Gambian International on five occasions during his stay at Ewood but this was often as an impact player from the substitutes bench so we’ll now see if he’ll look to bring in someone else on loan with the Emergency Loan Window no open or if the Rovers Manager will stick with what he’s got??

It wasn’t that Swansea (I think) were unhappy with his progress with Rovers the decision to recall him was due to injuries to other players Garry Monk has at The Liberty Stadium.
