The Chinese Super League continues to splash the cash around and this could see former Blackburn striker Nikola Kalinic become an overly inflated player purchase as he’s being linked with a huge money transfer move to Tianjin Quanjian.

According to reports in Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport the Croatian international could leave Fiorentina for as much as ?50m!

It’s claimed an offer of ?40m has already been made by the Chinese club – as he’s impressed again this season having scored 12 goals so far, he’s got 25 in 65 games since his signing in 2015 – but that was turned down.

However, a reported ?50m release clause could well take the 28 year old to China.

A potential return to England was claimed by the Mirror as they say Aston Villa and West Ham had shown an interest in Kalinic – who managed just seven goals in his 44 Premier League games with Rovers – but they would be ‘blown out of the water’ by such a bid.
