The Scottish Evening Times is reporting Danny Graham has moved a step closer to signing for Blackburn having undergone a medical with Rovers this afternoon?

Graham was being linked with a Celtic, which would see him work with former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers again having done so at Watford and Swansea previously.

The feeling was the 30-year-old was keen on doing this for a third time but Celtic have ‘passed’ on the striker who could have moved a step closer to signing for Blackburn as a result, with Owen Coyle expressing an interest in this, by undergoing a medical.

His release from Sunderland, after four-years at the Stadium of Light, has seen him linked with other Championship clubs too but maybe (his wages seem a sticking point) he’ll be back with Rovers next season afterall?
