Blackburn take on Rotherham in the Championship next up, so we’ll be onto that soon enough but before we move on fully from the last game we round up the MotM from Bristol City.

That game, which saw Paul Lambert retain an unbeaten start as Blackburn boss after a two-nil win, saw Grant Hanley voted as the main man with the Rovers captain, having also scored the opener, pulling in 57% of the votes from the vital poll we ran.

Hanley 57%
Conway 14%
Lawrence 7%
Marshall 7%
Duffy 7%
Sub – Brown 7%
Steele 1%
Henley 0%
Olsson 0%
Rhodes 0%
Sub – Taylor 0%
Sub – Guthrie 0%
Evans 0%
Akpan 0

Would you agree or disagree with this MotM winner?

Earlier this week we also saw the draw for the FA Cup third round, which paired Blackburn with League 2 side Newport who have John Sheridan as their boss.

At the time Lambert told

‘Any away tie in the FA Cup is always going to be difficult. Obviously we’ve been playing well on the road since we came in and we’ll need to sustain our away form in the coming weeks.

‘I know John a little bit. He was a good player in his day, he’s been around and he knows the game. It’s a big game for them – a small club from League Two against a big club from the Championship. Their fans will be right behind them, they’ll raise their game and they’ll look to cause an upset, so we’ll need to avoid complacency and be professional. Getting through is the most important thing.’

As such this seems as good a topic as any for a new poll so it’s been added, under the details shown below, so let us know what you think!
