Read it here:

09:30: Rovers in talks with Queens Park Rangers to sign defender Bradley Orr, Sky Sports understands.

11:20: Blackburn Rovers tie up Marcus Olsson transfer on a two and a half year deal.

13:04: Rumours floating about online that Ryan Nelsen will shortly have his contract terminated by mutual consent. Will keep you all updated!

13:12: Sky Sports News Radio reporting that Bradley Orr has signed for Rovers. No confirmation from the club as of yet.

13:26: Kean press conference due to start at Brockhall. Will report what is said when i see it…

14:00: Kean in press conference confirms Orr having medical at Brockhall. Also confirms that Bradley Orr and Marcuss Olsson likely to be Rovers only transfer window deadline day signings.

14:05: Kean also confirms that David Dunn’s new contract contains a coaching element at the club.

14:25: Kean has just reiterated in the press conference that Bradley Orr and Marcus Olsson will be Rovers only transfer business in the window.

Says allot considering he promised 3 or 4 1st teamers when the window opened.

So to round up. Modeste (5 month loan), Timothy Payne (minimal fee thought to be under 100,000), Marcus Olsson (free transfer) and Bradley Orr (minimal fee thought to be in the region of 250,000) will be Rovers only transfer business incoming.

Meanwhile Jason Roberts (Reading for around 500,000) is the only current outgoing. Salgado is currently abroad trying to find a new club and Rovers are actively trying to find clubs willing to pay a set fee for Mauro Formica and Keith Andrews.

Can’t personally help but feel that this transfer window has been a complete failure.

We have seemingly lost several optional 1st team players and brought in players who will have no immediate impact at the club who have no 1st team Premier League experience at all.

With no investment from Venkys forthcoming and a mounting debt. The question still has to be asked who is reaping the rewards of having Venkys as owners of the club.

From where i am standing it seems to be free worldwide advertising and reputation of owning a Barclays Premier League football club for Venkys. A increased wage for a unsuccesful manager for Kean and a whole lot of stress and disappointment for Rovers fans.

It is also worth highlighting that teams above and below us that are considered relegation rivals are all spending money to secure their Premier League status for next season.

14:50: Bradley Orr has taken part in a grand total of 8 games (6 Premier League & 2 cup against low legal opposition) this season for QPR playing a grand total of 368 minutes and being on the losing team 5 times.

In the 8 games he has taken part in QPR conceded 16 goals.

Meanwhile former trialist Scott Sutter has played a total of 16 games for Young Boys this season. Completing 994 minutes in 16 games in which his team conceded 15 goals, and won 9 games with him at Right Back.

Wrap your head around the logic behind rejecting Sutter and signing Orr with those stats and information!

16:12: Steve Kean has been talking about the signing of Martin Olsson’s brother Marcus on the official website.

“We had Marcus in for a few days and believe it or not he is quicker than his brother!”

“His testing was fantastic and then we played a practice match and he performed very well. So I think he will be a very good addition.”

“He’s looking very fit,” added Kean. “He’s been out with the national team out in Qatar playing and training so he is looking in good condition.

“Being a natural athlete it shouldn’t take him too long at all to get him up to speed at all.”

Olsson mk.2 will not be available for wednesday’s match against Newcastle however owing to International clearance not being given in time according to the official website.

Strange considering Cisse is waiting for International clearance from the Italian FA and has right up until 1 hour before the kick-off tomorrow.

17:30: Bradley Orr is going to be speaking to Sky Sports News in the next few minutes. Will echo his comments when they are available…

17:40: Bradley Orr confirms Rovers bid for him went in yesterday. He is excited about estabilishing himself as a first team player.

“There is a good selection of players here and i look forward to playing alongside them”.

Ian Dowie comments on Sky Sports News that he is a very good signing for the club and will bring experience and maturity to the team.

That would be Championship experience throughout his whole career minus 6 Premier League games this season and the kind of maturity that resulted in him trying to headbutt his own teammate, Louis Carey, during a game against Northampton Town back in 2006?

No confirmation of his signing by the club as of yet.

18:18: Twitter rumours that Rovers have been knocked back in a attempt to sign Robert Snodgrass (story originated in The Times) from Leeds United.

Keith Andrews may also be in talks with West Bromwich Albion over a move.

18:25: Sky Sports understand that Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Bradley Orr (via Twitter).

…more when i get it…

18:27: News on Keith Andrews future coming up curtacy of Sky Sports… again more when i get it…

18:31: Andy Cryer of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph reports (via Twitter) that Keith Andrews is indeed talking to West Brom regards a transfer.

“Orr is putting pen to paper as we speak. Will be announced by the club imminently”

18:45: Ian Dowie very critical of Blackburn owners and management on Sky Sports News right now regards signings during the transfer window and treatement of Chris Samba.

19:07: Sky Sports reporting that a fee has been agreed between Blackburn Rovers and West Brom for the sale of Keith Andrews. Andrews will now travel down to West Brom for a medical and personal terms.

20:22: Silly rumour time! Apparently TalkSport have reported that Harry Redknapp has offered Jermaine Defoe and 6 million for Chris Samba. DON’T BELIEVE IT FOR A SECOND!

Meanwhile. No confirmation of the Orr transfer from Blackburn Rovers as of yet.

They will probably hold it back to the last moment to make it seem more positive.

Remember it was reported that he was sitting down to sign a contract hours ago!

20:26: Aww… Brotherly love… Young Martin Olsson a happy bunnie that his twin brother Marcus has joined him at Blackburn Rovers…

Martin Olsson on Twitter; “Im very happy that My brother has signed for BRFC and thnx for the positive tweets…now its time to focus for the game tomorrow #3points!!”

Let’s hope he plays like his brother hey?

20:37: The Lancashire Evening Telegraph report;

“Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of Bradley Orr from QPR, subject to Premier League confirmation.”

No mention on the official site as yet. Maybe waiting for Premier League confirmation. Not sure why it would take hours though?

21:20: Confirmation from the club. Bradley Orr has signed on a two and a half year deal.

22:40: Harry Redknapp talking to Sky Sports News has revealed that Spurs are trying to sign Ryan Nelsen.

I know where i’d tell him to go!

22:42: Keith Andrews signs for West Bromwich Albion.

22:45: Rovers confirm Andrews departure on a free transfer until the end of the season.

23:11: Absolutely lost for words. Reports indicate that Ryan Nelsen has been released on a free transfer and will be signing for Tottenham Hotspur imminently.

Astonished.

01:06: With no confirmation on the Ryan Nelsen release and apparent move to Spurs being made. I can only hope that it is media rubbish. But know deep down that it is likely.

Before i tootle off to bed. I have enough time to echo some of Bradley Orr’s comments on Rovers TV.

“I’m just really happy, it has been a long time coming, I’m so excited, I’m really buzzing at the minute.”

“I’ve wanted this move so bad, I’m just so delighted it has been done, I’m now chomping at the bit to get started.”

“When you look around the squad it is such a talented squad with a mixture of experience and youth and I want to stamp my authority on the Premier League and do as good a job for Blackburn Rovers as I can.”

“The set up is different class and I’m just really looking forward to it.”

He also had nothing but good words for Mark Hughes at QPR but his heart was set on a move away for his family and to regain his playing career after such a long time as a fringe player.

He will have to work very hard to take the shirt off Jason Lowe’s back that is for certain!

Anyway. That is it for me!

Thankyou all for tuning in! Good morning!
