With a history of scoring spectacular goals Blackburn’s Morten Gamst Pedersen has done it yet again, this time for Norway in their 4-1 win over Hungary at the weekend.

Norwegian International Pedersen, who turns 25 on Friday, scored a goal said to be reminiscent of his wonderful strike against Wigan Athletic last season as he volleyed home Norway’s forth. As if you needed reminding of what Pedersen can do check out this link to see some of his stunning goals, including the Wigan one. Click Here

Pedersen’s strike against Hungary has been described as a “Van Basten” style volley. If it is anything like the Marco Van Basten strike against the old Soviet Union in the 1988 European Championship’s, which many would say is the best ever goal scored, it must have been some goal. I’ve searched the web high and low for the Pedersen goal but as yet have had no success. If anyone can find it please share it with us!

Thanks to markwhelan_21 who has found the link and what a goal! Click here to see it
