A question that’s always asked when the International break comes around is “has this come at the right time?”

Blackburn Rovers Manager Gary Bowyer feels that this break has come at the right time on this occasion, and on this occasion I think that I do agree with him for a variety of reasons.

We’ve had a good run of form but the opportunity to stop and assess how things are going has come at the right time, with ways of sustaining this positive for the duration of the ninety minutes (when we’ve sometimes switched off recently) being worked on by himself and his Coaching Staff.

Not just that it also gives us more time to try and bring some of our injuries bodies back into action and Bowyer feels that this could be possible.

Bowyer told The Official Website: “Hopefully we could also have some bodies returning in Jason Lowe, Tommy Spurr, Chris Brown and Josh King so that is good for us.

“Some of them could be very close, some of them we expect to have back. One or two might be a week or two away but they are all improving so that is great.

When we return to Championship actions we’ll be taking on Leeds United at Ewood Park on Saturday the 22nd of November, not only looking to extend our unbeaten run but we’ll be looking to extend this with a return to winning ways after successive draws.
