Jason Brown is seriously considering his future at Blackburn after years as a loyal back up to both Brad Friedel and now Paul Robinson.

The 27-year-old has played 3 games this season and to be fair has been as solid as a rock in all of them.

Brown, talking to the L.E.T said – ‘Maybe an exit is inevitable. Paul Robinson looks to be No.1 and you can’t get away from the fact I want to be playing regular football, whether that be here or somewhere else only time will tell,”

‘If that is the manager’s decision then that will be and if an opportunity comes up to go somewhere else then I would have to look at that seriously.

‘I will have to go away, have a think in the summer with the family and see what options are there.,” added the Welshman.

‘If there is an option to go and play somewhere I will have to have a discussion with the manager and the club.

‘I would consider dropping into the Championship. I have to be a realist, I am not going to walk straight into a Premier League team.’

Fair play to Jason as he is being honest here. I can’t see him dislodging Paul with the form he is in so I would expect him to move on.
