Wales and Blackburn keeper Jason Brown has not given up hope of playing for wales again in the future and is still enjoying life at Ewood Park.

Jason has found first team opportunities at Rovers limited since his transfers from Gillingham a few years back. His path to the No.1 jersey was blocked by the amazing Brad Friedel at first and now he is playing second fiddle to new senior goalie Paul Robinson.

However, despite all this, whenever he has played he has been ever reliable with many even thinking that Brown is BETTER than Robinson.

After another great display against Everton last week, Jason re-affirmed his commitment to both club and country.

Jason, speaking to the L.E.T said -“I would not say I have given up on Wales.

‘The manager gets paid decent money to make decisions and Mr Toshack makes decisions he feels is right and that is totally understandable.

“Well I say totally understandable, I mean I can see what he wants to do.

‘That is why he is the manager and under the pressure he is.

“I have not given up and I love playing for my country.

‘I have been fortunate enough to captain my country, I have been fortunate enough to become young player of the year – you look at some of the names associated with that, the likes of Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy and it is unbelievable. It is a privilege “If I can do well here, this is my bread and butter, then that could lead to better things.

Jason also took time to comment of life at Rovers and the enjoyment he gets from his time at the club.

Browny continued – “It is a pleasure playing with every single one of the players at Blackburn because we have a fantastic squad, we may not be in the best position but we have really good players.

“It is fantastic playing with all of them but it is also a pleasure playing against some of the best players in the world, it is great.

“I am just really appreciative that I am here and I want to try and do the best I can and hopefully get amongst them – so they say it is fantastic playing with me as well.”

I don’t know what anyone else thinks but I think this is a fantastic attitude to have and he will go far in life and in football.
