Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn has handed in a transfer request today in a bid to get first team football.


Bunn, who has been with Rovers since the Paul Ince days (shudder), is reportedly chasing first team action after finding it increasingly difficult to find a way past long term number one Paul Robinson.


Norwich City had a bid turned down for the talented shot stopper last week and despite not being able to offer Bunny first team action themselves with John Ruddy doing a fine job between the sticks it seems to have whet the Welsh keeper’s appetite for a new challenge.


Ball in Rovers court now it seems…
