A group of Burnley fans have dressed the statue of the late Jack Walker in the club`s kit ahead of the eagerly anticipated East Lancs derby this weekend.

Showing previously unseen intelligence and sense humour, the Burnley fans descended on the statue outside Ewood Park in the evening to add more spice to the weekend fixture.

This attempt is likely to upset the majority of Rovers fans due to Jack Walker being an iconic Blackburn figure.

To add insult to injury, word has reached us that Burnley were able to speed up their prank by making full use of the seven extra fingers at their disposal – an incredible 22 fingers were used by the three pranksters in this assault on a club figurehead.

Furthermore, the three assailants have discovered since this cowardly act that they are in fact all related, they share the same mother/sister/auntie/uncle/hamster. The hooligans have declined to comment due to further embarrassment.
