Cisse Attracting Premier Interest?

French International Djibril Cisse is being linked with a return to the Premier League, with Blackburn Rovers understood to be one of several English clubs interested.

The Marseille striker (who famously broke his leg at Ewood Park a few years back, so the ground must hold bad memories for him?!?!) has had a disappointing season with the Ligue 1 side this season, and has slipped out of the International reckoning (and with the European Championships coming up this summer he needs to play regularly to have any chance of getting back in), and Marseille are believed to be willing to let the former Liverpool striker leave, or are at least ready to listen to offers for him.

Rovers manager Mark Hughes is understood to be preparing a £7.5 million offer, but we have apparently denied an interest. However, Manchester City is believed as being his preferred destination. Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United are also reportedly showing an interest.
