The Professional Footballers’ Association named their four divisional 2017/18 Team of the Season’s earlier today.
I’m sure people know how to use Google if you have any interest in the selections for the Premier League, Championship or League Two, but with Blackburn Rovers sitting in second place in the League One table our form this year has been noted by Gordon Taylor’s outfit.
Well played, lads! https://t.co/sRmpdoK4Oj

A quartet of players find themselves in the selection and there’s no real surprise for fans in finding out that Bradley Dack, Charlie Mulgrew and Danny Graham are listed. Amari’i Bell is somewhat of a surprise fourth choice though.
Dean Henderson – Shrewsbury Town
Nathan Byrne – Wigan Athletic
Charlie Mulgrew – Blackburn Rovers
Dan Burn – Wigan Athletic
Amari’i Bell – Blackburn Rovers
Bradley Dack – Blackburn Rovers
Erhun Oztumer – Walsall
Nick Powell – Wigan Athletic
Danny Graham – Blackburn Rovers
Jack Marriott – Peterborough United
Will Grigg – Wigan Athletic
Four a piece with Wigan Athletic.
As said the surprise here is Bell with only five starts and four substitute appearances to his name, but he must have impressed the PFA enough with his performances.
Bell… interesting.
Mulgrew Williams and Bell difficult to get in same team— πΉChris Lost Lost Chris (Living without filters) (@LeftBehindPoet) April 18, 2018

Can't believe @Ebenno88 didn't make the team consistently one of our best performers, attitude, skill and commitment first class all season!

Raya in EFL team of the year but a Man Utd player in PFA team of the year?

I feel like including Bell as our player is cheating π I realise he is but any team of the year performance was at Fleetwood not us π

The awards and nominations for 2017/18 keep coming for Rovers, but fans are only after one prize themselves this season and it remains in our hands.
