Neil Redfearn has emerged as ‘another favourite’ for the Blackburn job.

Sacked by Leeds and Rotherham in the past year or so the betting markets now see him heavily backed by SkyBet, not that this makes it any more likely (then again less likely to be fair) to happen!

Neil Warnock replaced Redfearn at Rotherham (who looked likely to go down under him if he wasn’t) in February after parting with Leeds last season having previously held caretaker roles enjoying most success at Elland Road with the academy until he stepped up.

Blackburn are hardly likely to employ ‘a top name’ this summer but some will be more appealing than others, depending on how much strength these Redfearn rumours have, I’ll leave to others to decide how good or bad a job he’ll do at Ewood Park.

For what it’s worth I’m not sure Redfearn would be ahead of some others being linked, if I were making the call….
