Bradley Dack has been backed to make it all the way to the Premier League.

Will Dack make it to the topflight with Blackburn? The former Gillingham midfielder, signed in June, is scheduled to spend the next three years at Ewood Park so it’ll be possible if Rovers can rise up from League One.

As the ‘most technically gifted’ footballer Blackburn have this rise to the top is something Tony Mowbray feels Dack, 23, will be able to achieve.

He told BBC Radio Lancashire: ‘When you watch him, he’s our most technically gifted footballer. He can shift it on to both feet and hit without thinking. He undoubtedly has the talent to play at the highest level.’

The midfielder scored his third goal in 12 appearances for Blackburn in Saturday’s victory over Portsmouth, which took us back into the top six and – albeit with a lot of the season to go – a step towards a return to the Championship at the first attempt.

It goes without saying Mowbray hopes this place in the Premier League can be achieved with Rovers but the boss has also warned Dack, no matter how much ability he has, it’ll take a lot of hard work to succeed.

Mowbray added: ‘He’s a wonderful talent. He’s a nice lad and I’m trying to make him aware of the professionalism required. If he wants to make it in the Premier League one day, hopefully with this club, then you have to give your life to football, work hard, sleep and eat right.’
