Di Santo eligible for FA Cup and Carling Cup

Blackburn Rovers have today confirmed that Franco Di Santo is now eligible for FA Cup and Carling Cup duty.

Under the initial terms of his loan, Chelsea didn’t want the on-loan Rover to play in the cup competitions – cup tying the youngster.

But since he is now on loan for the whole season, Franco can now play in both cup competitions.

He better like Aston Villa because he will be seeing a lot of them in January…
