Diouf – I am back to my best

Rovers in form winger El Hadji Diouf has spoken of his relief at having a fresh start this season after having an indifferent start to life at Rovers.

Diouf was very hit and miss during his opening year and a half in East Lancashire but this season has started like a wilder beast on fire and with a point to prove.

The reason behind this upturn in fortunes has been explained by Diouf who had the misfortune of a baby miscarriage last year with his wife and an assault charge hanging over him from back in Senegal.

El Hadji Diouf spoke to the Sun and said – ‘I feel good, more positive. This year you will see the best of me.’
