Rovers manager Steve Kean’s life just got a little bit more difficult after coming in for some criticism from want away El Hadji Diouf.

Diouf has been frozen out at Rovers in recent times as Steve Kean looks to put his mark on the Blackburn side and with Diouf being told he is to find another club this has drawn a sting from the wasps tail.

Diouf has criticised the new set up and believes he is being used as a shadow Sam Allardyce.

Diouf told the Sun – ‘Nobody used to want to come and play at Ewood Park. It used to be hell. But right now everyone wants to play Blackburn.

‘A lot of things have gone – that spirit we had to win the game for the fans, for the manager and for ourselves.’

The fiery Senegalese winger also took the change in starting personnel personally and can’t see who will make a difference as Rovers look to get back on the points trail.

Diouf continued – ‘Who is going to come in and make the difference? I don’t see it.

‘I don’t want to see them relegated. But I know it’s going to be hard. I was one of the biggest players at the club. Then it all changed under the new manager.

‘If the players he had were better than me, OK I understand that. But right now that is not the case.’

What Diouf appears to be flummoxed about is the change in attitude he feels Kean has shown towards him since he took over from Allardyce back in December.

Diouf added – ‘When he was coach, he used to talk to me all the time. He’d tell me I was the club’s best player.

‘Then when he became the manager, he changed his opinion of me.

‘The problem he has is with Sam Allardyce and he has put that on my back.’

Basically he’s annoyed, he’s trying to force a move and he is pretty bitter.
