Just a reminder of the latest deal on offer from Blackburn Rovers?this one is a real winner!

This latest press release (below) reminding us about the Rovers “half season ticket” has just been sent to me.

WATCH ROVERS FOR LESS THAN £15!
Blackburn Rovers have revealed details of their Half Season Tickets which mean adult supporters can watch the last 10 Premiership matches at Ewood Park from less than £15 a game!

The fantastic deal also means juniors will pay only £49 for the tickets while seniors and young adults (16-21) will pay from just £95.

The remaining matches at Ewood Park contain some mouth-watering fixtures including the visit of five times European champions Liverpool on Boxing Day and Arsenal in the New Year.

The low prices are part of ongoing efforts by the club to address issues of affordability and attendances in the Premiership.

Rovers have developed a planned strategy to attract more supporters through the turnstiles during the course of the season. This has included reducing ticket costs for the local derby against Bolton, the introduction a match loyalty card, attractively priced Season Tickets and reduced prices for the club’s home matches in the UEFA Cup.

Simon Williams, Head of Sales and Marketing at Blackburn said:

The Half Season Ticket offers fantastic value and works out from less than £15 a game for the rest of the season, allowing fans to see some quality teams at Ewood including Liverpool and Arsenal.

It promises to be an exciting second half to the season and we want as many fans as possible to come to Ewood Park because their support gives the team a real lift.

We recognise cost is an issue for many of our fans and that is why we have implemented a planned strategy addressing affordability over the season.”

As I say, and I said last week this is a real winner. Where else could you watch English football for as little as £14.50 a game? The answer not many other places right through the levels of professional football in England, certainly not the Premiership!

You do feel for those who have already paid for there full season ticket but at the same time if us fans weren’t happy paying that we wouldn’t be season ticket holders anyway would we. The more fans in Ewood Park the better?
