Shane Duffy (fresh from his nightmare at Cardiff) is reportedly on his way to Brighton?

He’ll replace Lewis Dunk who is himself of interest to Crystal Palace, West Brom and Newcastle, who have already signed our former captain Grant Hanley this summer of course.

The Daily Mail is saying a £4m fee has been agreed to see the Republic of Ireland international leave Ewood Park, which is something Owen Coyle said wouldn’t happy if (as happened) Hanley left.

With Duffy and Ben Marshall turning down the opening contract offers put to them the indication is both will leave Blackburn at the end of their current deals, if not before.

It has been questioned by Coyle if Duffy’s ‘mindset’ was right for him to face Cardiff on Wednesday? If that’s the case shouldn’t he have been left out of that defeat?

What a way to end his Blackburn career, if that does indeed happen for Duffy! Three own goals in two-matches and a sending off too! Not the way anyone will want to recall the former Everton defender but if £4m is on offer you tend to think he’ll be leaving Rovers.

Marshall is being strongly linked with a move to Fulham but would £2.5m be enough? Hasn’t more (reportedly) been offered before this summer?

The final year of his deal or not you tend to think Marshall has to be worth more than the reported amount offered by our Championship rivals.

What are you expecting to see happen with Duffy and Marshall?
