David Dunn has called for calm and togetherness ahead of the final six games of the season.

Rovers are in the relegation zone on the basis of goal difference at present and with only 18 further points up for grabs it is blatantly squeaky bum time.

And the Blackburn born and bred man has spoken out calling for the team to become more difficult to penetrate and to develop a thicker shell.

Dunn told the Daily Star – “Togetherness and team spirit are the key in football, especially now with just six games left which are all massive. It has been a really testing season for us. Hard times.

“A couple of weeks ago we thought we might have pulled away a bit but now we are right back in it.

“We are big boys and it isn`t just us in this position.

“There are five teams down there now who are all desperate to get out.

“The only way is to make sure we are hard to beat and if we can do that we`ll be okay.”
