Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes feels that the form of David Dunn could have a HUGE bearing on Rovers’ chances of making Europe at the end of the season.
The 28-year-old has been in superb form this season (which has brought with it some rumours of a possible, if unlikely England recall) and was instrumental in our 4-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, so Hughes feels that he could be instrumental in our European push, as his fitness is improving all the time as is his influence in matches.
Hughes is quoted on Sky Sports: “David is always trying to get involved in a positive way. He is having an influence in the centre of the park which is really important for him.
“He keeps getting stronger and he is training every day now. He has that base of fitness he needs. He possibly hasn’t had that for a number of years and that’s why he can put in the performances.”
