David Dunn has signed a new deal at Ewood Park which extends his current contract by a further 12 months taking him up to 2013.

Dunn appears to be winding down his career at Rovers and looked a bit off the pace earlier in the season but recent games have suggested that the fire very much still burns for Dunny and Blackburn with terms now set and the ink dry on an extension.

This new deal will ensure that David Dunn completes ten years service at the team he supports after a four year hiatus in the ‘Hawaii of the Midlands’ at Birmingham.

Rovers manager Steve Kean told the official Rovers website – ‘Everyone knows that not only is David Blackburn Rovers through and through, but he remains a top player and a key member of our squad.

‘He has been at the top of his game over recent weeks and we are all delghted to see him extend his association with the club.’

Well done David. Good to see someone still loves playing for us!
