Vital Blackburn’s most recent Poll asked, “Midfielder of the Month for February?” We voted in favour of David Dunn.

With a MIGHTY 72% Dunn was crowned the Midfielder of the Month for February after some fine performances, the kind that have seen him getting back to the kind that brought him England International recognition during his first spell with Rovers.

Morten Gamst Pedersen’s 16% sees him finish as runner up to Dunny, and as such he also advances to the overall Player of the Month poll, taking place soon.

David Bentley (12%), Aaron Mokoena (0%), Steven Reid (0%) & Tugay (0%) completed the poll.

So in summary
David Bentley – 12%
David Dunn – 72%
Morten Gamst Pedersen – 16%
Aaron Mokoena – 0%
Steven Reid – 0%
Tugay – 0%

  • Dunny totally deserved his place, not so sure about MGP though; did he really do enough over the course of the Month to justify coming second???

  • get a life seriously. If you being top of the leaderboard makes u happy…… on a sour note though dunny officially ruled out, big loss

  • Really unlucky for Dunny that he has been injured in training he was just coming into a good bit of form, seems to happen to a lot of our players these days

  • He had good games accross the board guys. Big miss today but we got the 3 points… thats all that is required.

  • Reid had a good game by all accounts. He is growing into his holding role well… a real asset when fit. (Cue Bommy with the counter argument).

  • Dunn had been looking good in fits and starts. I think his loss of pace is an issue and he NEEDS to score more goals. Still well dunn to him.
