David Dunn’s return to Blackburn Rovers is looking even more likely with the news that Birmingham City co-owner David Sullivan has revealed the club are ready to sell.

Rovers were reported to have made a late move for Dunn during the summer transfer window but had their efforts knocked back but Dunn himself admitted a return is something he would dearly have loved, and would have still welcomed in the future.

Birmingham are keen to cash in on Dunn, who will be out of contract in the summer and Matthew Upson, who is himself refusing a new deal. Sullivan told the Daily Mirror:

There will be some players leaving in January.

Matthew Upson is a great player but he wants to go to a bigger club.”

The club are hoping to get £4 million for Upson, who is being linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United and £1 million for Dunn heavily linked with Rovers.

I’m sure that many will want Dunn back, with people voicing this back in August with several doing again recently. There are sure to be those that also wouldn’t want him back. Whatever your view leave your thoughts below?

Look out for a Poll on the subject of Dunn returning, likely to be posted by the end of the week.
