Rovers are able to welcome David Dunn back into the match day squad as he returns from his latest injury ahead of tonight’s match with Brighton.

Also back in the fray is Marcus Olsson, who hopefully might be able to give his twin brother a kick up the backside.

But the game comes to soon for Josh King who despite reports of a return to the squad at the weekend has had his return delayed for fear of pushing the boat out too soon.

Tonight’s game is the rearranged fixture from the originally postponed match over the Christmas period which invited conspiracy theories of sprinklers being left on and a forced postponement. But word on the street is tonight’s game will go ahead which gives Appleton and the boys a chance to bounce back from the weekend’s horror show.

Rovers will pick from – Kean, Kane, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Vukcevic, Lowe, Murphy, Rochina, Kazim-Richards, Rhodes, Usai, Givet, Fabio Nunes, Dunn, Formica, Pedersen, Markus Olsson, Nuno Gomes, Morris, Goodwillie, Rosado.
