Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Peter Enckelman is keen on making his loan switch to Cardiff City a permanent move this summer.

Enckelman made the loan move to Cardiff in January (having been almost forgotten at Ewood Park) and he has enjoyed his time a great deal. As he prepares to play in the FA Cup Final the 31-year-old Finn has hinted that he would like to make his move to Cardiff a permanent thing in the summer.

Enckelman the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: “Cardiff gave me the chance to kick-start my career.

“There were moments when I found it difficult to motivate myself when I knew I would not be in the matchday 16 at Blackburn. Maybe I needed a new challenge – and that was provided by Cardiff.”

“I am focused on playing football and leave all contract details to my agent.

“He will let me know when there is something certain, but right now I am concentrating on preparing for the FA Cup final
.”

I don’t see a reason why he can’t complete a permanent move to Cardiff as he doesn’t have a future at Ewood does he?!?!
