Goalkeeper Frank Fielding has sealed a permanent move to Derby County after finally moving from Rovers on a more permanent basis.

Fielding has been on loan at Championship club Derby County this season playing alongside ex-Rover Robbie Savage and has now decided at the age of 23 to move away from Ewood Park.

Frank has had his progress up the first team ranks blocked in recent years and would have struggled to break into the first team in the next few years due to form and relative youth of Paul Robinson.

He has been on loan at Rochdale and Derby among others in recent seasons.

Derby have signed Frankie for an ‘undisclosed fee’. We send our best wishes to Frank in his future career as he has always been a Blackburn lad having come from the academy and he comes Brad Friedel recommended.

Good luck Frank Fielding.
