Blackburn boss Steve Kean has told Herold Goulon he will be leaving Ewood Park on a free transfer if any club firms up their interest.

Goulon was an Allardyce bosman signing back in November but has failed to establish himself and has been stuck up a brown creek without a paddle since the new regime came in.

The big midfielder had an horrendous showing against Man United at the back end of last year (like everyone else that day!) and has barely been seen since as signings such as Jermaine Jones and the return of Steve N’Zonzi have shoved him firmly down the pecking order in the midfield ranks.

Goulon has also suffered the indignity of being left out of the first team’s trip to Dubai this week and has been stuck at home in the reserves.

I don’t think he’ll remember being at Blackburn as a high point.
