So it seems as if we may get some sort of transfer activity before the World Cup.

Just as hope seemed to be fading rapidly, it looks as if one Rover looks to be leaving there could be a new boy as well.

Rovers midfielder Vince Grella, who seemed certain to start the new season at Ewood Park, is being packaged off to Galatasaray – this isn’t even an isolated story, it seems close to a done deal if you believe more or less all of the English press.

£2.5 seems to be the valuation and it looks like this move could pave the way for some extra spending power, which in turn would let Rovers re-enter the bidding for…

Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker looked like a Borussia Dortmund player last week but the move has frozen which has allowed Rovers back in.

They were priced out of a move at the first attempt but £2.5 million of Vince Grella money would put the Blue and White back in contention.

So a midfielder out and a striker in? Seem like the right move?

Are these stories wide of the mark?

Can we please have some answers instead of questions for a change?!
