Leicester City have signed Blackburn Rovers striker Paul Gallagher for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old Scotsman was actually Rovers longest serving player but has been out on loan a lot in recent times.
Gallagher has always been a hit at Championship level and will no doubt prove to be again as he wants regular games – something that Sam couldn’t offer him at Rovers.
Gallagher did impress Sam during his last chance this pre-season but it wasn’t enough as the arrivals of Nikola Kalinic and Franco Di Santo put pay to any chance Paul had of making it back to the first team.
I am sure I won’t be the only one wishing Gallagher all the very best as he always gave his all for Blackburn.
