Gally Price Too Rich For Plymouth

Blackburn Rovers striker Paul Gallagher doesn’t look as though he’ll be making a permanent switch to Plymouth Argyle this summer.

The Evening Herald (a local Plymouth newspaper) is under the impression that Rovers will be looking for around £1 million for the 24-year-old who enjoyed a successful loan spell with Plymouth this season ending as the Championship sides top goalscorer with 13 goals in 41 matches, however, that amount of money is beyond the Devon clubs’ means.

Five Championship sides are understood to be interested in Gallagher including Ipswich Town and Preston North End, with Preston (who have previously had the former Scottish International on loan) favourites to land Gally.
