With YOUR help Vital Blackburn has been trying to determine what have been the best and worst of the Blackburn Rovers 2007-2008 season.

The nominations are still be taken for other Awards, but the Vital Blackburn Awards for 2007-2008 continue to be dished out with the GOAL OF THE SEASON.

THE WINNER: CHRISTOPHER SAMBA V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR AT WHITE HART LANE.

When asked to simply leave the name of the player (and obviously who the goal was against) you feel scored the Rovers Goal of the Season most felt Christopher Samba v Tottenham Hotspur should be the Award Winner, so congratulations to Samba.

The Walls goal was a fine strike, for a defender to score as he did is no mean feat but I have this feeling that he got the nod here as much as anything else as this was a last minute strike to beat Spurs at White Hart Lane, something will all loved lol!

Not taking anything away from him, as it was a fine goal but the votes spoke, and we abide by them but David Bentley, Matt Derbyshire and Tugay all deserve an honorary mention, as they weren’t far off claiming this themselves.
