Gomaa Begins Trial

As EXCLUSIVELY revealed to you last week Wael Gomaa could soon be joining Rovers.

The Egyptian International, 30, who arrived on Sunday for a trial has been given permission by current club Al Ahli to sign for Rovers. Gomaa is currently training with them as he attempts to win a contract with the club ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Meanwhile Egyptian International teammate Amr Zaki is also being linked with a move to Ewood. The Zamalek forward is said to be keen on a move to England with Rovers and Manchester City both reportedly keen. A reported £2 million bid already placed and rejected for the player, from whom I don’t know.
