Rovers are set to add a striker to the ranks with the news that a fee has been agreed for highly rated Dundee United striker David Goodwillie.
The fantastically named individual is now due in at Ewood for a medical in due course after a £2 million fee + add ons was agreed between the clubs.
The Lancashire Telegraph is reporting – ‘David Goodwillie is expected to undergo a medical at Blackburn Rovers today – after a bid was accepted for the Scottish international.
Rovers are understood to be ready to pay a fee totalling £2.8million after add ons, after a bid was accepted late last night.
Reports came out of Scotland late last night and Rovers sources have now confirmed to the Lancashire Telegraph.’
