Rovers boss Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Vince Grella will be at Blackburn Rovers next season.

Vince was apparently set for a move to Turkey this summer and had twice been reported as being on the Galatasaray radar.

But now it seems that his only way of going to the Turkish area is through a travel agent (I work on commission Vince by the way).

Big Sam very much views the Grella as a first team player it seems.

When asked whether he can deny the rumours, Allardyce said to the Lancs Telegraph – “Yes I can.

“We have had no contact whatsoever from Galatasaray I am led to believe and so Vince is still our player and I am glad to see him get another 60 minutes in.”

“We wanted to get a stronger side out, which we did. In the first half that showed because we played some really good football.

“We scored one goal but we should have had more than that. We scored a good second goal in the second half, although Sydney did produce a good fightback.

“It was a good all round performance, with a lot of good football, a lot of chances and some good goals.”
