Rovers defender Grant Hanley has had to withdraw from the Scotland squad to face Norway tonight due to concerns over his hamstring.

Hanley was due to be in the starting line up tonight to potentially come up against former Rover Morten Gamst Pedersen in opposition, but after feeling a tightness in his legs has pulled out to be checked over by Rovers medical staff.

The news now means that Rovers have had their full compliment of senior internationals called for duty pull out of their respective squads with both Josh King and Jordan Rhodes withdrawing in the last week due to injury concerns.

Whether this is an actual injury or one of those mysterious ‘injuries ‘ that appear to happen religiously on international duty remains to be seen, but Hanley will be disappointed after putting in a decent shift against the USA on Friday.

Rovers are back in action on Saturday when they face Reading at home.
