Blackburn secured a two-nil win over Bristol City in the Championship on Saturday to maintain the unbeaten record under Paul Lambert.

After a goalless first half when Nathan Baker saw red, for his second yellow card, Blackburn took advantage and went ahead when Grant Hanley volleyed home from his defensive partner Shane Duffy’s knockdown just ahead of the hour.

With four-minutes to play, when Aden Flint fouled Markus Olsson, Rovers had a penalty and a chance to make sure of the points with Ben Marshall doing this as he beat former Rovers ‘keeper Frank Fielding in the Bristol City goal.
